RETREAT BOOKING PROCESS

Unfortunately we do not hold dates for bookings as we are a very busy retreat space and blocking dates for period of time puts our business in a situation where we cannot take another booking. This means we potentially miss out on another booking that is ready to proceed - we do hope you understand.

All bookings are invoiced upon booking and payment is due within 48 hours or your dates maybe forfeited

Our Booking Process

Once you have decided on dates - we tn block this out for you in our booking calendar

  1. We will then invoice you and secure the dates in our booking calendar
  2. We require 50% payment upon booking, and the remainder is paid 30 days prior to your retreat stay
  3. Once payment is made - we send through a booking confirmation and set you up on our Retreat Planning System
  4. Please read our Terms and Conditions below re cancellations

 

CANCELLATION POLICY – FOR RETREATS 

The cancellation policy is applicable to whole or part cancellation of Retreat booking.

CANCELLATION FEE -   $1000  cancellation fee is retained 

If the cancellation is within the 60 days prior to the retreat the entire funds $1500 is  retained
 
CHECK IN  - we work with individual retreats (normal start time is 12 noon) however we can be flexible with start times
 
CHECK OUT is between 12 noon and 1pm on day of departure - (an additional fee of $500 for extended time until 5pm)

 

MID WEEK RETREATS

TUESDAY - THURSDAY OFFERING 
 
Mid Week retreats 
 
from $1350 a night minimum two nights - with 50%  deposit and the remainder to be paid in full -  30 days prior to your arrival date - 
 
CANCELLATION FEE -   $1000  cancellation fee is retained 
 
If the cancellation is within the 60 days prior to the retreat the entire funds $1350 is retained
 
CHECK IN  - we work with individual retreats (normal start time is 12 noon) however we can be flexible with start times
 
CHECK OUT is between 12 noon - 1pm  on day of departure - (an additional fee of $500 for extended time until 5pm)
 

ONE DAY  RETREATS

TUESDAY - THURSDAY OFFERING 
 
One day retreats are $1350  and are to be paid in full at the time of booking
 
CANCELLATION FEE -   $1000  cancellation fee is retained 
 
If the cancellation is within the 60 days prior to the retreat the entire funds $1350 is  retained
 
CHECK IN  - we work with individual retreats (normal start time is 9am) however we can be flexible with start times
 
CHECK OUT is 5.30pm day of retreat

 

CANCELLATION FEES – FOR WEBSITE ACCOMMODATION

The cancellation policy is applicable to whole or part cancellation of bookings.


A $1000 cancellation fee applies to all accommodation cancellations.


For a booking cancelled 60 days or less prior to your stay, the total rental is retained.

PROFESSIONAL CLEANING ASSURANCES:

The Summer House Retreat only uses Third Party Professional Non Toxic Cleaning Services


The Summer House Retreat only uses Third Party Professional Laundry Services
Hand wash is provided complimentary in our venue

Other Terms:

  1. We are not an Event Hire Venue –ie wedding venue we are only Retreat accommodation for  Family Holidays and Retreat groups
  2. We have a strict no party policy.
